Wellington is a small, friendly, market town situated near Taunton, is close to the beautiful Blackdown Hills and offers a good quality of life. The town has good transport links being close to junction 26 of the M5 motorway and is well served by schools and sixth form colleges, both state and private, the latter including Wellington School.
The Practice
Wellington Medical Centre, a well-established GP practice with a history dating back to the 1970s, is a stable, thriving, vibrant and sociable GP practice. The practice is semi-rural with a growing list size of over 15,500 patients and provides primary care services under a General Medical Services (GMS) contract.
Due to the planned retirement of one of our GP Partners, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated GP Partner or Salaried GP who values family medicine and works well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Vacancy
- Up to 7 sessions per week
- A competitive sessional rate
- Six weeks’ annual leave and bank holiday allowance (pro rata for part-time)
- Pro rata study leave sessions per annum and regular CPD sessions
