Part-time salaried GP – Lostwithiel Medical Practice

Due to the forthcoming retirement of our salaried GP of many years standing, a vacancy will arise for a replacement part-time GP for four to six sessions per week (flexible/negotiable) timetable by mutual agreement. We are a semi-rural dispensing practice with a high level of achievement in all areas of primary care and are looking for someone with the same ethos of working hard within a small but dedicated team.

For many years now we provide outpatient services in orthopaedics and plan to extend this to include other specialties locally. Our extended roles include participation in IAGP cover within an organised rota with The Three Harbours where we jointly employ an elder-care nurse and a prescribing team.

Three Harbours joined forces with Bosvena to form a PCN and we are actively involved in the decision-making process. We have access to additional staff to include diabetic nurse specialists, an IT officer, social prescribing, paramedics, physiotherapy and well-being pursuits locally and are actively seeking to employ a mental health practitioner, a dietician and a podiatrist to extend our diabetic services.
