VACANCY FOR OPERATIONS MANAGER
CONSTABLE COUNTRY MEDICAL PRACTICE
A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Operations Manager. The successful applicant will assist the Practice Manager in ensuring the practice operates efficiently and is compliant with contractual and legal requirements. The role includes the following responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day operation of the practice including supporting the practice team in managing day-to-day issues and responding to fluctuations in demand.
Overseeing the reception team including staff training, appraisals, annual leave and other HR matters.
Arranging and attending clinical and admin meetings to ensure ongoing improvement in operational efficiency.
Working with the Practice Manager and Lead Partner to manage the complaints and significant event review processes and ensure learning is understood shared.
Ensuring practice policies are organised, up-to-date and reviewed as necessary.
Ensuring the practice web site, NHS Choices, noticeboard and other patient communications channels are kept up to date.
Liaising with the Patient Participation Group and attending monthly meetings with the PM.
Collating, reviewing and publishing patient feedback. Discussing patient issues with them and resolving if possible.
Implementing ad-hoc improvement initiatives and organising influenza and covid vaccination programmes as necessary.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience working in primary care is desirable. Pay is dependent on experience.
