A little bit about us
Morlais Health is a large practice in Merthyr Tydfil, led by a young, dynamic team of partners. Our aim is to be the best GP Practice in Wales and we wish to add to our great team who are working hard to achieve that goal. We have a supportive working environment with formal mentoring offered to our salaried GPs, and we hold in-house CPD/clinical governance meetings regularly.

Our services
We offer many enhanced services including minor operations, joint injections, coils and implants, shared care prescribing, DOAC initiation and monitoring, Warfarin initiation and monitoring, insulin/injectable initiation and monitoring.
Our team
We are a training practice with 7 partners, 8 salaried GPs, 2 GPSTs, F2s, 5 highly trained Practice Nurses (including a prescriber), 4 highly trained HCAs, a clinical pharmacist, medical students, nursing students and AHP students. We have amongst our partners the Vice Chair of the LMC and the Merthyr Tydfil Cluster Lead GP. Our Practice Manager is a Chartered Accountant and is the Cluster Practice Manager Lead. 5 of our partners are under 40, as are all our salaried GPs. We offer a progressive pay scale dependent on experience with pay rises annually for the first 5 years post-CCT.
Salary £10,000–10,800 per session per annum
