We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed GP to join us immediately, but are willing to wait for the right person to help us deliver our vision for the practice.

Station View is a thriving, urban, GP Surgery with 7 partners, 2 salaried GP and 2 ANPs. We are in a purpose built building; provide services under a GMS contract to a patient list of around 12200, with varied demographics. We are a high achieving, well organised and well managed practice, and have received a ‘good’ rating in our recent CQC inspection.

We are also a teaching practice, teaching both medical students and GP registrars.

  • High QOF achievement

  • Recently rated Good by CQC

  • Established training practice (with GP registrars, and medical students)

  • A high level of enhanced services delivered in house

  • A highly skilled nursing team including 2 nurse practitioners

  • EMIS Web paper light practice

Person Specification

  • Enthusiastic and hardworking

  • Committed to providing high quality patient services

  • Good Team Player with a good sense of humour

  • Ideally interested in teaching and developing own specialised areas.

We hold a daily coffee session, with an opportunity for clinical staff to discuss ‘on the day’ patient issues, share any home visits (not taken by the acute visiting service), and discuss any clinical issues. We also have referral teams to discuss any areas of speciality, a weekly partners meeting, plus a monthly clinical meeting.  In our spare time we try and have various staff meals out and social team based activities. This leads to a very supportive team.
