BRUNEL MEDICAL PRACTICE
DUE TO THE RETIREMENT OF A PARTNER :
A SIX MONTH LOCUM position is available (4-6 sessions) with a Partnership position available after this 6 month mutual assessment.
This is a really great opportunity to move to a new area with a guarantee of regular work and have time to assess if a permanent role is suitable.

Any locum doctor would receive a detailed induction (especially if out of area) and if permanent employment was agreed then a supportive protected educational mentoring programme.
Mentor modules :
• Management modules supported inhouse by Senior Partner and Practice Manager looking at finance /QOF/ new contract/ staff /employment law/PCN and collaborative working / understanding CCG, LMC roles
• Script management and audits
• Lab results and interpretation.
• Appraisal guidance with mentor
• Making IT improve efficiency at work with an EMIS champion.
• In-house CPD with MDT
• Support for Doctors new to the area on local services/hospital/hospice etc
• LMC courses on partnership roles

? Expanding ANP and Nursing team to support urgent health problems and manage chronic diseases
? We have a reception team trained in health navigationwith a dedicated manager, ensuring patients are efficiently directed to the right member of the clinical team.
? The appointment system is a flexible hybrid system (telephone /econsult and selected face to face) ensuring all members of the clinical team can work to their preferred style and ensure they can choose how and when they see patients and the appointment length.
