Finance & Project Manager – Old Bridge Surgery

Situated in the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Looe, serving 9,500+ patients, Old Bridge Surgery are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and motivated individual to join our management team.

Working alongside the Business Strategy Manager, the Finance & Project Manager will be responsible for financial management (accounts, planning, forecasting, payroll), estates and facilities management, as well as  evaluating and implementing new business  products / opportunities .

If you  feel you have the experience,  skills and passion  to help us move to a new phase of business development , one which ensures that we remain resilient to the increasing changes and challenges faced by General Practice, whilst ensuring that patients are at the centre of everything we do, then we would love to hear from you.

As a success ful candidate, you will  be a team player who is able to implement and manage change effectively and ,ideally,  have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification (or experience) in Business or Finance Management
  • Experience of leadership and financial management, ideally within a healthcare setting
  • Ability to deliver a vision and a willingness and drive to adapt to NHS targets and business planning, whilst keeping abreast of legislative and contractual changes
  • A flexible, positive, self-motivated and forward thinking approach
  • Excellent organisation, management and planning skills, IT skills and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong numeracy and ability to work independently.

The role is offered for 30 hours per week with opportunities for flexible working.
