Brunel Medical Practice cares for more than 16,000 patients across 3 sites in Torquay. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Practice Nurse, with good communication and organisational skills to complement our existing friendly healthcare team.
We would like the candidate to provide general nursing care including immunisations, vaccinations, dressings, cervical cytology screening etc and to have a comprehensive set of clinical skills. Asthma, COPD and/or Diabetes management skills would be essential.
This post would initially be for a fixed term period of 6 months but it is expected that the contract will be made permanent for the right candidate at the end of this period.
The practice pays for RCN membership for all members of the practice nursing team and is committed to the support and ongoing personal development of all staff. The practice is affiliated with Plymouth University and supports medical and nursing students in training.
