Locum GP – HOSM PCN
Views: 554
Ideally we are looking for up to 3 x GP locums to participate in a winter pressures project in collaboration with the Urgent Care Response Team. We are located in East Devon (Honiton - EX12, Ottery St Mary - EX11 and Sidmouth - EX10) If you would like to work with us in primary care but in a different way to the norm please read on................................
The project will run for 12 weeks, from mid-January.
Each practice can fund 2 x locum sessions (preferably but not essentially on Monday and Friday mornings) to complete the following work:-
- will dial in to the Urgent Care Response team meeting having logged on to S1 , to give GP clinical advice to the UCR team for practice registered patients. It will be agreed with the GP if any of the patients on the UCR team radar will need a GP appropriate visit. The meeting with the UCR team will be up to 1 hour. The UCR meetings usually start at 0900 but they can start at 0915 to accommodate school runs etc if required.
- GP will then carry out agreed visits and if time allows assist the practice with its’ on the day visit requests.
There will be some basic metrics to complete eg how many patients discussed, how many patients visited & outcome (eg stayed at home or admitted). The project will also be asking for feedback from GP about how the scheme ran and any good news stories to share.
Payment is on receipt of locum invoice at a sessional rate of £260.00 plus usual pension contr.
If you are interested but cannot offer Mondays and/or Fridays we would still love to hear from you to discuss alternatives. If you would like to take part please email me with your CV and preferred location.
We look forward to hearing from you.
