Sid Valley Practice is looking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and motivated part-time Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our Same Day Team managing both minor illness and minor injuries .
You must have, or be working towards your Masters in advanced practice or Credentialing. You will be a Non-Medical Prescriber and ideally have both general practice and minor injuries experience. The role will involve assessment and management of patients presenting on the day with both minor illness and injuries and may involve telephone triage.
We are a hardworking and friendly team located in the beautiful coastal town of Sidmouth, Devon. We aim to deliver excellent care that enhances patient’s health and wellbeing in addition to our own.
We work across 2 sites, our main site, Beacon Medical Centre is a new purpose built surgery, in addition to housing routine medical services we also operate a minor injuries clinic and have a modern operating suite for dermatology and carpal tunnel surgeries. Many community team members also operate from our main site and contribute towards the care we deliver to our patients.
We have a dedicated and enthusiastic team of 8 GP Partners who are responsible for and oversee all the care of their patients. The Partners are assisted by 5 Associate GPs, 1 Salaried GP’s, 1 Pharmacist, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 7 Practice Nurses, 6 Health Care Assistants and 29 administration staff. We work under contract to NHS Devon to provide care to approximately 14,500 patients registered at our practice.
We are already positively contributing to collaborative work within our primary care network and look forward to the increasing opportunities ahead. Our population is also well supported by our own PPG, Hospicecare and superb community volunteer groups.
Start date, / Pay (dependent on experience) / working hours: To be mutually agreed. We are prepared to wait for the right applicant(s).
