An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 4-5 session salaried GP/Partner to join our well established, hardworking, and dedicated team following the retirement of our Senior Partner.
We are fortunate to have some flexibility in the number of sessions/days we can offer and feel it is important to find the right person who shares our ethos and approach of putting patients first so would look forward to discussing and agreeing how we can make your availability meet with our requirements.
We provide primary care services to a population of 7000 patients predominantly living in Estover, Leigham & Mainstone which includes one residential home and Marjon University.
So what does our practice have to offer?
- We are a friendly, hardworking, innovative team who enjoy working together
- All current Partners are under the age of 43
- We have an excellent, supportive team of Paramedics, Practice Nurses, HCA’s, Administrative and Reception staff; operating out of a purpose-built, rented building, which is fully reimbursed.
- Consistently high QOF achievement and above average GP earnings
- We are a proactive PMS training practice with a strong emphasis on training and education. We have 2 trainers and currently have one ST3 but look to increase this in the future. We also work with the Medical School and currently have year five students in the practice
- We offer 15 minute routine appointments as standard.
- Rarely more than one visit each per day and a lot are in walking distance of the surgery.
- We meet daily for coffee breaks to develop our team working relationships and support each other in our work.
- CQC rated “Good” in January 2016 and in September 2019 passed our Annual Regulatory Review.
- We currently use Microtest Evolution clinical system but are switching to Emis Web in November 2019.
- We are part of a 5 practice Primary Care Network sharing ideas, resources and innovation
