Salaried GP – Litchdon Medical Centre

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our friendly, supportive practice team as a Salaried GP for up to 6 sessions a week. We can be flexible with regard to the number of sessions and days of the week you would work.
We run our services from a purpose built medical centre and we pride ourselves on providing high quality, patient-centred care with a strong team-working ethos.
Litchdon:
• Holds a PMS contract and is a Training Practice with 15,600 patients
• Uses TPP/SystmOne computer system
• Has 11 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP and 2 Retainer GPs
• Runs a ‘Same day Team’ service for patients who need to be seen urgently – GP and nurses are present in these clinics
• Has an experienced nursing team who manage chronic disease, contraception and treatment room
• Has daily morning coffee/get-together for all GPs
• Provides full admin support
• Offers a mentorship approach for newly qualified GP’s
• Owns its premises
• Actively participates in local commissioning and is part of the Barnstaple Alliance Primary Care Network
• Has close links with the Community Team
We are looking for these sessions to start from December 2019 but there can be some flexibility with this.
