The course meets the DoH requirement for formal assessment of competency by the inclusion of Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS) assessments during practical skills.
This half-day interactive practical course provided by SPCL combined with the Fourteen Fish online Minor Surgery package meets the DoH requirements and is designed for GP's of all skill levels.
The course is completely GP focused but will bring in the expertise of Consultant Surgeon , Dermatologist and Dr Zaid Hirmiz (GP with interest in Dermatology & Minor Surgery)
The course covers Suturing techniques, Punch Biopsy, Shave Excision, Curettage.
This course is only practical: PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE MODULE VIA THE FOURTEENFISH ONLINE PACKAGE TO BE ABLE TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE
