The Elite Sports Man & Woman
Some of us may have tried. Some of us may have achieved. Most of us will have had an injury. All of us will have had patients with a sports injury. Some of them may have even played for a local team. Matt will tell us more. Matthew Booth is a Physiotherapist & Director of Flex-Health. Matthew graduated from York St John in 2012 & has worked in professional sport for six years. He commenced working for Hull City FC where his role was to oversee the medical needs of the reserve and first team squad. He was promoted to head academy Physio & was responsible for all players from the under 9 to under 23 age group. He has an MSc in sport and exercise medicine from the University of Birmingham & has worked with professional athletes in boxing, rugby league & union, motorsport & squash.
