9.15 am join the session 9:30 - 12:30 Training - Please join the session promptly so you can check your equipment is working, the trainer can take you through any 'housekeeping', and the session can start on time.

This session will be delivered via the Zoom cloud-based video conferencing service. NB: This means we will need to provide the trainers with your email address and contact details - continuing with a booking on this basis will constitute your tacit agreement to this.

You will need computer/laptop/or electronic device that can load the Zoom app, has speakers and microphone (video is optional). If you will be sharing a room with others at the time of the training, a headset with microphone would be useful but not essential (the ones that come with a mobile phone are ideal)

Trainer

Ann Sunderland, qualified as a registered nurse in 1986. After working in a hospital setting for two years, Ann moved into general practice and was one of the first nurse practitioners in the Yorkshire and Humber region. After moving to a hybrid clinical and managerial role within a local clinical commissioning group, Ann moved into full time academia in 2006. In 2011, she was instrumental in designing the clinical skills and simulation suite at Leeds Beckett University and developed a special interest in simulation based education.

Please note this session is NOT being recorded.

Subsidised Booking Options

Wessex LMCs hold a number of funds for different organisations, specifically for training purposes.  By using these funds, many of our 'members' are able to access training without direct recourse to Practice Funds.  It is important that you select the appropriate funding option in the booking process, so that we can assign your booking to the correct funding stream, and here is some guidance to help you decide.

All GPs and Members of Staff working within GP Practices in the Wessex LMCs' catchment area

Please use this option if you are working in a Practice in the Wessex LMC catchment area and do not fit into one of the other options on offer.  This option may, or may not, have a cost attached.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight - AHPs & Nurses

We are delighted that NHS South East have agreed to fund this course for all AHPs & members of the Nursing Team working in Practices in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. To access this funding you must be an AHP or member of the Nursing Team working in a Practice in Hampshire (excluding North East Hants) or the Isle of Wight.

Non Members

Please use this option if you are not working in a Practice in the Wessex LMCs catchment area.

NB: Unfortunately, some of your colleagues have previously booked places and not attended, preventing others from doing so.  It must be stressed that the above options are not ‘FREE’ they are funded from NHS monies, all of which must be accounted for.  If, therefore, you select one of these subsidised options, and do not attend, or fail to cancel more than 2 weeks in advance, you will be charged the full member delegate fee.  To cancel your booking please email: Lead@wessexlmcs.org.uk at least 14 days before the event date.
