Due to retirement we are looking for a GP Partner for 6 sessions We are resolutely focused on achieving a great work/life balance with late finishes a rarity. We currently have 9 GP Partners (6.25 WTE) serving a population of approximately 11200 patients. Our ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, motivated, innovative and a committed team player.
We are a friendly, well organised practice with an excellent team of experienced clinicians and administrative staff.
Hayle is a coastal town with 3 miles of golden sands popular with surfers, kite surfers and tourists. As well as offering the usual GMS services we also run local enhanced services such as contraception clinics, minor ops, minor injuries and shared care Drugs Misuse Service. The surgery is an experienced training practice for GP Registrars and Medical Students. We work closely with the community teams and the CCG and we are actively involved in medicine optimisation and locality level commissioning. Our CQC inspection in 2018 was rated as Good and we have consistently high QOF achievement as well as excellent patient satisfaction. Our Clinical IT system is currently Microtest Evolution but we are migrating to EMIS Web in June 2019 and we do electronic prescribing. We can offer flexible session timings to fit in with family life (for example due to child care arrangement or the school run).
