We are looking for a part time medical records notes summariser to check, summarise and code incoming medical records on to an electronic patient record. Knowledge of read codes, medical terminology and keyboard skills essential along with good communication skills, attention to detail and a good understanding of confidentiality. You will be an experienced clinical coder looking for additional hours/flexible working or a clinician/clinical administrator looking for a new challenge to complement your existing portfolio.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience in the primary care environment, working alongside our supportive and friendly team of clinicians and admin staff. This is a permanent position for 8 hours per week with an opportunity to work additional hours when required.
Ottery St Mary is a market town on the Eastern fringes of Exeter and is easily accessible from the A30. Our premises are fully accessible and purpose built with good staff facilities and off site car parking close by.
