Deputy Practice Manager – Llandaff North Medical Centre

The practice is looking to recruit a full time Deputy Practice Manager on a maternity cover basis.
Llandaff North Medical Centre is a long established practice with a stable list size of 6500. We are active within the cluster, LMC and AWMSG. We are a GP training practice with three trainers.
Key features are:
- Currently 7 GPs (4 Partners, 2 salaried, 1 registrar at present) with a 4 session GP retainer starting in September
- Skilled nursing team (2 practice nurses including minor illness, 1 HCA)
- Skilled admin team (5 receptionists, 2 IT administrators and 1 prescribing clerk)
- Cluster Pharmacist
- LHB provided Mental Health Nurse and 1st contact Physio
- High achievers of QaiF, enhanced services and prescribing indicators.
- Medical student placements
- PiCRIS accredited Research Practice
- Daily and monthly MDT meetings
- Clinical system - Vision/Docman
- Single site. Modern purpose built surgery
- Cardiff West cluster
The successful candidate will be organised, able to multitask and committed to ensuring the smooth running of the practice and maintaining a high standard of service at all times. Candidate must be flexible to ensure that staff cover is provided where needed.
Hours: 37.5pw
Anticipated Rota: Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm and Friday 7am to 12:30pm
Salary: £12.50ph
