We are a friendly, innovative and enthusiastic team, seeking a similarly motivated Nurse Practitioner, who is passionate about delivering outstanding care.
Our thriving, rural PMS (1 site GMS) practice is part dispensing, and currently comprises 13 partners; one salaried GP; a highly-skilled nursing team; and efficient administration and reception support.
We operate from modern premises in Cullompton; a historic market town surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside, yet only 15 miles north of the vibrant city of Exeter. We have three branches and one satellite GMS practice in surrounding villages.
We are a very supportive, dynamic, and high achieving practice and pride ourselves on providing excellent clinical care to our population of over 17,000.
The successful applicant will be expected to act as an autonomous practitioner, working independently of, but in conjunction with our clinical team, including duty doctors two nurse practitioners, and our paramedic, to prescribe medication within their competence; undertake independent consultation with patients with undiagnosed, undifferentiated medical conditions; make treatment decisions (including ordering the necessary investigations); refer patients to secondary care; and to visit our housebound patients
